It is only on happenstance and further investigation that I have discovered the secret spy sense the aroma of plants has on our world.  Deepening my ninja skills, utilizing my communication with the plant world, and activating the Scents Sense of the Spy, I’m here to share with you a small portion of how to activate your spy scent sense.   In a very sneaky spylicious way, plants have taught me all about the ways of enticement and the powers of persuasion in the most suprising and unexpected ways.

After three straight days in the lush rainy forests, I was saturated with secret spy scent. Sleeping, eating, drinking in nature. I was a changed creature.

It could just be the scent of lemon, but it can feel like this!

I first and foremost started studying essential oils to learn they’re medicinal effects on the body mind and spirit. Slowly I began to uncover a whole new dimension of medicine that I have never encountered before.  By treating myself to all the amazing healing effects of oils, I was by default influencing all those around me through the power of aroma.

I always tended to be more enticed by the more tactile practices of applying and injesting oils.  That is, until I started to experience the outside influence oils were having in my life.  It was as if the plants were using me as a conduit, as their runway model down the streets of our modern society.  They are my shield, and my expression and they communicate to everyone around me as my personal concierge.

In this edition I bring to you the ways in which you can use plants as your Spy of Sense.

Although I’m a lover of the perfume industry, when I talk about scents in this blog, I’m referring to whole plants essential oil in the purest whole form possible.

The scent spy can bring this sense to any environment.

When you are walking through a forest or emersed in a wild natural environment the way you feel about yourself and the world around you is very different.  You might carry in the weight of your world, and sensitivites that have been bothering you…but twenty to thirty minutes into nature your state of being is softly and undeniably different.  A subtle soft transformation has occured without you even knowing.  The plants have been whispering and luring your sensability.  Plant agents have been infusing your cells with extra oxygen, filling your instinctive sense of smell full of life force.

You can change moods, sway decisions, uplift the tired, and awaken the passion! SHhhhh...actually you don't have to be that sneaky, the plants do the work for you.

I’m here to tell you, you can bring this subtle magic with you everywhere you go.  My favorite place for you to start is in the heart of the paved jungle, where plant life tends to only potted or delivered.

The Citrus Oils:  Wild Orange, Lime, Grapefruit, Lemon, Bergamot

The Spy Sensability: Even those sensitive to smells automatically recognize the citrus scents.    The smell of citrus is most synonamous with the eating of the fruit.  Everyone knows exactely that magnificent, refreshing smell of ripping the skin off a luscious thick orange rind, or the aroma from a knife piercing the skin of a lime on a hot day.  I love bringing citrus essential oils into places of work, where scents are not often allowed anymore due to so many smell sensitivities.  The sly citrus world, when pure, is able to slip through the aroma cracks.  In a sterile environment it brings life, breath, and spark.

The Spy Applications:  Dab lime, lemon, or wild orange on the back of your ears, the base of your throat and on the bottoms of your feet before an important interview or important meeting.   No one questions the scent that citrus brings because it is such a recognizable smell.    I have suggested citrus oils when people are nervous or worried going to a job interview.  Applying a drop or two to your hair or bangs has a diffusing effect everytime you move your head.  While surronding yourself with fresh inspiring scent you are sending that vibe out to all you encounter…Secret Scent Style!
